Screeching to a halt...for a weddin'!

My dear friend and invitation designer K. Chung emailed me this article and it was definitely blog-worthy. I'm currently in Fla having had the best weekend ever at a friend's wedding! I sometimes forget besides the mosquitoes, slow-paced lifestyle, and large retirement population South Florida can still think outside of the box. Especially for new Mrs. Nina Johnson.

When choosing a location for her wedding ceremony and reception she set her eyes on a parking garage. HA-HA...That's what her guests thought of when she mentioned it to them AND included a sketch of the parking garage on her invitations. But boy were they awe-struck when they arrived and saw that the loft-like structure lit up in all it's beautiful architectural glory complete with a 360-degree view of South Florida!

No exterior walls!

I applaud this bride for being so creative. She didn't stick to what could have been safe. Remember, any space can be transformed with some work.
