Abby gets married!

I had dinner with Abby of Abby Jiu Photography a few months back and I raved to her about her bridal gown that she gorgeously wore at her wedding last year at her wedding in Peurto Villarta.  Her wedding is now featured on both, Martha Stewart Weddings and Style Me Pretty.

Sirocco- THAILAND

Ok, ok...I am dying for one of my girlfriends to have an ultimate destination wedding different from the typical beach side wedding. How did I not discover this amazing hotel/restaurant with a view a long time ago!  I'm terrified of heights, but I love spectacular views, especially of large cities.

Check out Sirocco Restaurant. It's the world's largest "open- air" restaurant that gives you a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. This beautiful restaurant is located in State Tower (Lebua Hotels). Serving Mediterranean cuisines.

Why not have the ceremony in one of their ballrooms and get whisked up to the 63rd floor where long tables are set with low set orchid and peony arrangements while overlooking the city. I LOVE! These days weddings and events are becoming more intimate and the guest count is being kept small.

Of course your guests will make a vacation out of this whole affair! Who wouldn't want to go to Thailand for vacation and to share an incredible milestone!

Gucci Dress- Make a BOLD statement

I am in love with this beautiful Kelly Green Gucci dress worn by a bride who got married in Mexico.  Photos were taken by Suzi Q of Q Weddings Photography. You don't have to be limited to Ivory or White for your wedding gown, especially for destination weddings! It's your wedding day! Have fun! But make sure you are comfortable with not wearing the usual colors on your wedding day! Confidence goes a long way.
