Ok, ok...I am dying for one of my girlfriends to have an ultimate destination wedding different from the typical beach side wedding. How did I not discover this amazing hotel/restaurant with a view a long time ago! I'm terrified of heights, but I love spectacular views, especially of large cities.
Check out Sirocco Restaurant. It's the world's largest "open- air" restaurant that gives you a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. This beautiful restaurant is located in State Tower (Lebua Hotels). Serving Mediterranean cuisines.
Why not have the ceremony in one of their ballrooms and get whisked up to the 63rd floor where long tables are set with low set orchid and peony arrangements while overlooking the city. I LOVE! These days weddings and events are becoming more intimate and the guest count is being kept small.
Ahh-mazing view!
The fantastic color changing bar
Of course your guests will make a vacation out of this whole affair! Who wouldn't want to go to Thailand for vacation and to share an incredible milestone!
xo,
Yoleine
When you meet your Prince Charming, you can get married here!! How beautiful...
ReplyDeletebelieve me, I thought about it while I was writing up this blog...wedding in the city of Bangkok wouldn't be so bad...
ReplyDeleteyo - this is the skybar...i've been and it is as awesome in person as it is in these photos!!! the only downside is that they forget they are in thailand and charge los angeles prices for their drinks (and i'm sure everything else, but we can only vouch for the drinks). xoxoxo
