A light from above

One of my favorite details at any weddings are lighting. Lighting used in the most useful and charming ways. Whether you want to use thousands of small candles (er, make sure you check with your venue for this fire hazard approval) or have vintage chandeliers lined above a beautifully set table, or lanterns to light a romantic pathway to a gracious garden. Use it as you may, but take it to the next level.

My friends know I'm all for a flea market run and will search hell and high water for a sweet vintage deal...and I'm not lying! Don't come shopping with me unless you're prepared to walk {for hours}.

If you're having a a traditional, yet an ethereal garden wedding try finding some nice glass chandeliers.

If you're opting for a courtyard wedding, hang some vintage metal lanterns, that are strung with rope.

I love how they used different light bulbs and round lanterns, all hung by thin rope.

Don't underestimate your space, I love how this is creating the most intimate dinner

I lourve, I lourve (word my friends and I use with each other!)

Whatever you decide, take it to the next level and make a statement (even if you're shy). It's your wedding!
